Rare antique 1884 Fairy Tales by Hans Christian Andersen book, Hurst & Co edition with a woman surrounded by flowers on the green and orange cover and spine. There are also over 200 black and white illustrations throughout.
Hans Christian Andersen wrote such famous tales as The Little Mermaid and The Ugly Duckling. This would make a wonderful gift for any book collector or new parents for a nursery.
There is some wear and discoloration on the cover, spine, and pages due to age, but this book is still in really good condition. Some of the text ink looks smeared on a few pages. Also yes! There is a typo on Andersen's last name on the front cover. The book measures about 7.25" x 5". Please note that photos may appear brighter than actual book.
