Antique 1887 Rose in Bloom book by Louisa M Alcott, author of Little Women. This is a beautiful edition with a green, red, and gold cover and a few black and white illustrations within.
In this sequel to Eight Cousins, Rose Campbell returns after two years of traveling around the world. Suddenly, she has a bunch of male admirers, all expecting her to marry them. But before she marries anyone, Rose is determined to establish herself as an independent young woman, a great coming of age story. This would make a wonderful gift for any book collector.
