Antique 1899 May Flowers book by Louisa May Alcott with girl in green dress knocking on the door on cover.
This is the story of a group of young Boston girls, all descendants of the Pilgrims, who call themselves the May Flowers. Their group is a social/book club, and they decide they want to help others. As with all of Louisa M Alcott's book, this is a classic children's story with themes of kindness and compassion.
Due to its age, there is wear and discoloration on the cover, spine, and pages. Pages in front are loosening and one of the illustration pages is detached (as pictured). Book measures about 7.5" x 5". Please note that photos may appear brighter than actual book.
