Rare antique edition of Harriet Beecher Stowe's book Uncle Tom's Cabin or, Life Among the Lowly. Stowe's novel became a turning point for the abolitionist movement; she brought clarity to the harsh reality of slavery in this book that inspired many to join anti-slavery movements.
This book has a lovely blue, silver, and red floral designed cover published by Henry Altemus likely in the early 1900s. There are also some illustrations within. This would be a wonderful addition to any home library or decor.
