Rare antique 1902 Flower Fables book by Louisa May Alcott, the author of Little Women. This is a lovely edition with pink-ish, gold gilt, and red tulip cover and spine -- I haven't seen another one like it!
This was Louisa May Alcott's first published work, written for Ellen Emerson, the daughter of Ralph Waldo Emerson. This children's book would make a wonderful gift for any book collector, new parents, or anyone who loves flowers.
Due to its age, there is some wear and discoloration on the cover, spine, and pages. A couple of pages are loosening from the spine. Book measures about 6.25" x 4.2". Please note that photos may appear brighter than actual book.
